Kids’ Creek Early Care & Education is a Great Start to Quality rated preschool program that acquaints each child with a world that lies beyond home, a world that will provide new meaningful personal relationships with children their own age and adults who are truly committed to developing the child’s emotional, academic, social, and physical skills. This year Kids' Creek was eager and able to take two of our Work based Learning students - what a gift! Pictured is Dakota sitting on the floor playing with a baby in the infant room. Dakota loves kids and is always willing to be flexible. She wants to go to school to be a Mental Health Therapist. Avery is working with a preschooler on her scissor cutting skills. Avery is a wonderful teacher in our preschool classroom and is always willing to help when needed. She plans on going to school for Elementary Education. Great JOB Ladies we are proud of you here at the CREEK!

Kale’s been working diligently on site and has future hopes of focusing on electrical work. His site superintendent highlighted that Kale’s a great worker and that Pumford has hopes for additional work-based learning students in the future. Great job Kale, way to represent the CREEK… and thanks for the heads up about the boots!

Students in Mrs. Zink's World History classes proved the assembly line is more efficient than individual labor. They created Spinning Zinles, origami toys, using an assembly line. Each student specialized in a different step and the assembly lines created more toys than individuals.

Work-based learning students personalized and created small “but festive,” tokens of appreciation - to give back to their employers this week. While also enjoying a celebratory snack for themselves. 😉🎄😁
