AP Bio is learning more about photosynthesis with the famous floating leaf disk lab. Each group chose a different variable to test, then evaluated their claim based on evidence and reasoning… As always, this group is learning lots and having fun!!!
The building trades students set trusses this week. Bierlein came to site and discussed crane site safety, as well as let the students work directly with the operator on the radio calling out directions. It was a chance for students interested in heavy equipment to work right with the people that are out in the field doing it every day. Thank you, Beirlien for another great experience for the students.

Mrs. Discher’s leadership class had a blast attending the Herff-Jones Legacy Summit where they were inspired to leave a lasting legacy during their time at BCHS. It was a dance party and an opportunity to generate fresh ideas for positive growth at the Creek.
It's "October Madness" in U.S. History! Students are debating-bracket style-on which of the "Sweet 16" chosen inventions is the best invention of its time. Which invention has what it takes to win the Championship round and claim the NCAA (New Creations Advancing America) Title?
Ecology gives students a chance to learn how organisms interact and depend on each other. Here, Biology students are working together on the Predator - Prey lab, to track these relationships. This lab takes teamwork and attention to detail, but students have a lot of fun!!!

The Midland County Educational Careers class, taught at Bullock Creek High School, had a great day with the L.I.F.T. (Leaders Influencing Future Teachers) at SVSU. They attended sessions on teacher certification, scholarship opportunities, project-based learning, ways to make classes more engaging, and other classroom- and teaching-related topics. Students will get the chance to apply what they learned today in this class and in their classroom placements. Students were also able to get a tour of the SVSU campus and see some of the freshman dorms. Some of the students were also excited to eat at the SVSU cafeteria!

Graphic design class is working on a miniature water tank model to wrap with artwork made digitally that brings awareness to clean water. This is based off of the Water Tank Project in New York City,(2014) where artists transformed the city's water towers into a city-wide skyline art exhibit.
