We are excited to celebrate our amazing 6th grade students for winning this year’s School Food Drive! Their generosity, teamwork, and school spirit helped make a meaningful impact on families in our community.
As a reward for collecting the most donations, our 6th graders enjoyed a special EXTRA lunch. To make the day even more memorable, students spent time outside having fun with staff—playing games, enjoying the fresh air, and enjoying a little treat.
We are so proud of their hard work and leadership. Thank you to all students, families, and staff who contributed to the success of the food drive. Together, we make a stronger Creek Community! 🖤💛

Learning takes flight in Mrs. Gillean's class! Students put their science skills to the test by exploring force and motion with paper airplanes! They discovered how pushes and pulls affect how far and how fast their planes fly. Every launch was a chance to observe real-world physics in action.

Our 6th-grade scientists put Newton’s Laws of Motion to the test by designing and building their own vehicles! Using one of three methods—rubber band, mousetrap, or balloon—students explored how force, mass, and motion work together. From planning and preparation to production and testing, this hands-on project had them thinking, creating, and experimenting like real engineers!

Bullock Creek Middle School students received a special message from magician and motivational speaker, Anthony Grupido. His story, The Magic of Hope, was told through magic and discussed important topics such as: resilience and coping with challenges, healthy ways to manage symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression, the importance of asking for help by using school and community resources and finding hope during difficult times. This event was put on in collaboration with BCMS’s PeerLIFT program and Community Mental Health for Central Michigan. Students showed their support for Suicide Awareness and Prevention by wearing purple and teal today.

On Thursday, September 18, 2025, some of Bullock Creek Middle School's 8th grade PeerLIFT students attended the annual Kickoff Event at Bullock Creek High School. These students joined other middle school and high school PeerLIFT students around Midland County planning this year's themes and activities. The day was filled with a lot of energy, team-work and positivity. The goal of our PeerLIFT program is to educate students on mental health issues and promote a culture in our building and community where students feel safe and comfortable to ask for help.
