BCHS Announcements

Seniors - Sunday, January 15th is the deadline for the Midland Area Community Foundation Scholarship application. It is also the deadline for quite a few Bullock Creek scholarships such as Trumbell, Dean, Freeland, and Burdon that can be turned into Mrs. Brown.

Are you interested in learning how to grow a positive outlook on life and navigate life's challenges and difficult situations? If you said "yes!," then you should consider signing up for the next FREE workshop titled, "Maximize Confidence in Your Physical and Mental Health".  The workshop will be held on Friday, February 17th starting at 11:00am. You can sign up with Mrs. Brown in the Counseling Center.

Covenant HealthCare Volunteer Services is now accepting applications for the Summer 2023 session of their High School Volunteer Program. Students will have an opportunity to experience a medical center atmosphere and interact with nurses, physicians, and technologists throughout the organization. Students will be able to volunteer as a Patient Ambassador as well as serve in opportunities with pharmacy, physical medicine & rehabilitation, and emergency care. They also have non-clinical volunteer areas available such as patient discharges, mail delivery, clerical support, and the gift shop. Students may apply online, www.covenanthealthcare.com/volunteer, and the deadline to apply is March 31st.

There will be no school for students tomorrow, so our teachers can have a work day to work on Semester 1 grades. We will be observing Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, so there will be no school for students & staff. Semester 2 will start Tuesday, January 17th.

Lunch Tuesday - Regular or spicy chicken patty on a bun, cucumbers & tomatoes, mandarin oranges & milk.

Enjoy your long weekend, Lancers!
