Dear BCHS Families,
Welcome to the second half of summer. As we prepare for the upcoming school year, here are a few important dates to add to your family calendar…
1. August 13th
– Schedule Pick Up (sophomores, juniors & seniors) from 10am-12pm in the main gym. Parking pass forms will be available at this time at a cost of $30/year. *Yearbooks will be available for pick up for those student who had pre-ordered them.
– New Student Orientation in the Media Center from 9am-10am. This is designed for any sophomore, junior or senior that is NEW to the district. Students will have an opportunity to learn about the high school, tour the building, ask questions and pick up their schedule and locker assignment. If parents/students would like to meet individually with a counselor, please contact the Counseling Office at (989) 631-2418 ext. 1509 to set up an appointment.
– Freshman Orientation from 1:00pm-2:30pm in the Auditorium. This session will include the introduction of counseling and administrative staff, schedule pick up, building tour and orientation, locker assignments, cafeteria instructions, and options for extracurricular activities. Students may enter the building through the Auditorium doors. This orientation is designed for students.
2. August 14th
– Student schedules will be available to view and download from Skyward beginning at 8am.
3. August 19th
– First day of school for students.
BCHS will open for student entry at 7:20am – please do not arrive before this time.
Student day will begin at 7:53am
Student day will end at 2:38pm
