Dear BCHS Families,

Included in this email are some important reminders…

1.  CTE OPPORTUNITIES:

Bullock Creek High School will be offering three Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes for next school year, Construction Trades, Wood Working, and Educational Careers.  However, your child may request to enroll in a different Midland County CTE program. 

On Wednesday, January 31, interested sophomores and juniors will be transported by bus to different CTE programs throughout Midland County. We will leave Bullock Creek at 8:00am and return around 11:00am.  If your child would like to visit one of BCHS’s CTE programs, they will be out of class from 8:00am-9:00am (Construction Trades) or 9:00am-10:00am (Educational Careers and Woodworking).  While we will notify your child’s teachers and the Attendance Office of this absence, your child is responsible for collecting and completing missed work. 

If you would like your child to participate, they can pick up a permission slip in the Counseling Office. Completed permission slips are due back by 11:00am on January 25 to the Counseling Office.  If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Brown, at brownj@bcreek.org or 989.631.2418 ext. 1507.

2. UPCOMING PARENT/GUARDIAN MEETINGS:

  • CLASS OF 2026 PARENT MEETING – Wednesday, January 31 at 6:00pm

  • BULLOCK CREEK EARLY COLLEGE – Wednesday, January 31  at 7:00pm

  • CLASS OF 2028 PARENT MEETING -- Thursday, February 1 at 6:00pm

  • CLASS OF 2025 PARENT MEETING – Monday, February 5 at 6:00pm

All meetings will be held in the BCHS Auditorium.

3.  Semester 1 exams are scheduled for January 17th-19th – see attachment for the schedule

4.  Attached is the upcoming EXAM SCHEDULE & PERMISSION SLIP.  Any student wanting to leave campus after exams on Friday, January 19th MUST turn in a signed permission slip by the 17th.  Additional copies of the permission slip will be available in the main office beginning on Monday.
