As we approach the beginning of a new week, here are a few things to share with you:
Friday, March 11th is a half day for students. Lunch will be served and then students will dismissed at 12:05PM.
Congratulations to our two Battle of the Books teams! They have completed their Battle Season with one of the teams earning a spot in the top ten!
We will continue our March is Reading Month activities this week for any and all who choose to participate. (see calendar attached)
It’s enrollment time! Do you know a student considering kindergarten next year? Please encourage them to give us a call in time for our next kindergarten event on May 5th.
We are reviewing and reteaching bus expectations for all of our riders. Any help you can provide at home to ensure your student is remaining seated, only moving when the bus is stopped, and speaking respectfully to peers and the driver is extremely appreciated. Students who ride safely and respectfully will continue to have the opportunity to ride the school bus.
We’re looking to grow our paraprofessional sub list again. If you enjoy working with kids for a few hours here and there, this may be a job for you! Our needs vary from all day to just the 11-1PM lunch and recess hours. Give us a call or send me an email.
