Floyd News and Notes: November 22nd

Floyd Families-

I hope you enjoyed the weekend and found time do something that makes you happy. As you prepare for the upcoming week, here are a couple of things to share with you:

  • Lunch menu change: Monday will be a chicken sandwich and Tuesday will be a hot dog.

  • Students spend a minimum of 25 minutes outside each day, and our K-2 students easily surpass an hour of outside time. Any help you can provide in your child packing hats, gloves, etc. is appreciated.

  • We are still looking for para support help. If you’re looking to help every day, some days, or even two hours a day to help get us through the lunch and recess time, please contact me. We’re especially looking for Friday help.

  • Any student waiting for the results of a COVID-19 test must remain out of school until the results are known. Students will be marked excused for those days.

  • Thank you for calling in when your child is absent. Your call allows us to keep our attendance records accurate. If at anytime something doesn’t seem right about attendance or you have something to update, Ms. Amanda and Mrs. Lori Brown are happy to help.

Have a wonderful week!  -Mrs. Moses
