Floyd News and Notes

Floyd Families-

I hope this note finds you and your family well.  Here are a few things I have to share with you for the upcoming week:

  • A big thank you to the many people who helped host the Scholastic Book Fair and carnival, and also those who joined us at both last week. We are thankful for you and so happy you joined us!

  • Our 5th graders will be at Hartley Outdoor Education Center for the first part of the week. If you are a parent dropping your child off with luggage on Monday morning and aren’t used to using our morning drop off lane, please know the line is a “keep moving lane” and if you need to get out and assist your child with luggage, we appreciate you using a parking spot. We hustle to get cars off the road and can only do that if the line keeps moving with quick drops. Thank you!

  • It’s hard to believe we are in our third trimester of this school year. Report cards went home with students last Friday. If you have any questions, please feel welcome to reach out to your child’s teacher.

  • Important Date Change: Floyd School is working with Lee Bar and Grill to host a trivia night on  May 9th. Once we have the details, I’ll share them with you.

  • Please see the attached flyers for opportunities with Girl Scouts, The Chippewa Nature Center, and BC Youth Football.

Have a wonderful week!

Mrs. Moses
