Here are a few things to share with you as we begin a new week:
Girls on the Run is now accepting registrations for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade girls.
Me and My Favorite Fella Dance is Friday, March 10th.
Teachers are scheduling parent-teacher conferences for March 7th and 9th. We look forward to a strong turnout and the opportunity to connect with families.
We’re enrolling kindergarten students for this coming fall. If you know someone ready to start kindergarten, please encourage them to call us.
Update: I only received 2 bus discipline referrals last week. Woot! Woot! Thank you for your help! The BC Transportation Department and I are working to support the students in making safe, responsible, and respectful choices while on the bus. In general, staying seated and out of the aisle, using a voice level that’s not startling for the driver, and keeping hands to themselves are the reminders we’re giving students. Unsafe behavior, swearing, and yelling at the adults on the bus are reasons students may lose bus privileges for a day or more. Any reminders of these expectations you give to your child are greatly appreciated.
