Students who want to participate in upcoming sports - Competitive cheer, wrestling, or girls' basketball- must have a sports physical on file in the office to try out. Please see the emails from Mr. Tomko regarding sports information.
The Cross Country team will compete in Shepherd today at the JCP Jamboree #2. The team will arrive at 4 pm.
This Friday is the end of the 1st marking period. Students are encouraged to turn in homework. Report cards will be sent home with students soon after the marking period ends.
The BCMS Annual Food Drive is in full swing, and students are encouraged to donate if they're able. This is a great way to support families in our community. There's a friendly competition going on between the grade levels. The team with the most points will win a prize when the food drive is complete. Suggestions for donations include non-perishable food items, such as canned vegetables, boxed foods, pantry staples, and toiletries. Your support is appreciated! The food drive ends on November 7th.
Hat Day is on Friday, October 24th. Students can pay $1.00 and wear a hat at school. All proceeds go towards the food drive.
The next Spirit Day will take place on Friday, October 24th. It's UofM/MSU Spirit Day! Wear green/white or blue/yellow for your favorite team.
The Halloween Band concert will take place at the high school auditorium on Tuesday, October 28th, at 7 pm. Band students need to arrive at 6 pm.
Picture retake day is on October 30th!
The next middle school dance will take place after school and end at 4 pm on October 30th. Admission is $5. Pop, pizza, and breadsticks will be available for an additional cost. Pizza is $2 per slice, pop is $1.00 per cup, and breadsticks are $1 each.
There will also be a Halloween contest on Halloween. Students can dress up in their favorite costumes. Minimal face paint will be permitted. No blood, gore, or weapons are allowed.
