Hello October!

Virtual parent-teacher conferences take place today from 3:00 to 6:30 pm. Mr. Tomko sent an email to families this morning with the Google link. If all the time slots are filled, please email teachers individually with your concerns.
The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams play against St. Louis today at BCHS. The matches begin at 5 pm. Go Creek!
Sign-up sheets are in the cafeteria for students who are interested in the following sports: Competitive cheer, wrestling, and girls' basketball. Cheer is open to all girls in all grades. Wrestling is open to all students in all grades, and girls' basketball is open to all 7th- and 8th-grade girls. All athletes must have a sports physical on file in the office to participate. Please note that if your student participated in Sideline cheer, their coach needs to bring those physicals to the office at the middle school.
The State of Michigan Pupil Count Day takes place on Wednesday, October 7th. On this day, we have to account for all students. If your student is absent, please send an email or turn in a doctor's note for your student's absence.
On Friday, October 9th, there is a half day of school. The middle school will dismiss at 10:30 am.
Looking ahead to the end of the month....the next middle school dance will take place on Thursday, October 29th. The dance is after school, and admission is $5. Pop, pizza, and breadsticks will be for sale for an additional cost. Please bring small bills, as we can't make change with bigger bills. Thank you!
