Floyd News and Notes: April 3rd

Floyd Families,

I hope you had a wonderful spring break and found time to do something with your child(ren) that the typical week doesn’t allow time for. Here are a few things to share with you as we begin a new week:

  • The playgrounds are wet-wet-wet! We encourage students to pack dry socks in case the water is irresistible. Wet pants and socks make for an uncomfortable afternoon of learning.

  • This week is the Mini-Battle of the Books school day competition for the 3rd and 4th grade readers interested in experiencing Battle of the Books. I have thoroughly enjoyed hosting this experience and seeing the reading enthusiasm growing.

  • My apologies for the continued mistakes I was making with the survey link I recently sent out. I am thoroughly embarrassed, however, the information is required for a project I am working on for the State of Michigan. If you haven’t shared your thoughts, here is the link: https://forms.gle/PnBPbH6rsYfQea2g8, and it’s open today through Thursday.

  • Please find the April lunch menu attached.

  • There is no school on Friday, April 7th.

Take care-

Mrs. Moses
